Cut the tofu into cubes and pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Prepare the marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey (or agave syrup), sesame oil, grated garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
Place the tofu cubes in a bowl and pour the marinade over them. Let it marinate for 20-30 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.
Heat a little sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Pan-fry the tofu cubes on all sides until golden brown, about 8-10 minutes.
To serve, sprinkle the tofu with toasted sesame seeds and fresh cilantro. Serve with steamed rice or your favorite vegetables.
