In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Gently mix to combine, then form into small meatballs.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides until golden brown, about 6-8 minutes.
Pour the tomato sauce into the skillet with the meatballs. Bring to a simmer and cook over low heat for 10-15 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water according to package directions. Drain well.
Serve the spaghetti topped with the tomato sauce and meatballs. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and grated Parmesan cheese.
