In a large saucepan, pour in the red wine, then add the cinnamon sticks, cloves, and nutmeg.
Wash the orange thoroughly and cut it into thin slices. Add the orange slices to the wine in the saucepan.
Start heating the wine over low heat, being careful not to let it boil, as this will cause the alcohol to evaporate.
Let the spiced wine simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
Remove the saucepan from the heat, then add the honey. Stir well until the honey is completely dissolved.
Strain the wine to remove the spices, then pour it into glasses. Serve warm, and garnish with an orange slice.
