In a small saucepan, combine the orange juice, honey, rice vinegar, and soy sauce. Add the grated ginger.
Heat the mixture over medium heat until it begins to simmer gently.
In a small bowl, whisk the cornstarch with the water until smooth. Slowly pour the mixture into the saucepan while stirring constantly.
Cook the sauce over low heat for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until it thickens. Season with ground white pepper.
Let it cool slightly, then serve with grilled meats, fish, or use as a dipping sauce.
