Cut the fish into small pieces, squeeze lime juice over them, and let them marinate for 10 minutes.
Finely chop the onion, garlic, tomatoes, and chili pepper.
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic for 3-4 minutes, until softened.
Add the tomatoes and chili pepper, and cook for 5 minutes, or until the tomatoes are soft.
Add the fish pieces to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and cumin. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.
Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or directly over a flame until lightly charred.
Fill the tortillas with the spiced fish mixture. Top with fresh cilantro and diced avocado.
Before serving, squeeze fresh lime juice over the tacos to enhance the flavors.
