Clean the mushrooms and slice them into thin strips.
Dice the onion, garlic, and tomatoes. Slice the chili pepper.
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic for 3-4 minutes, until softened.
Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes, until their moisture evaporates and they are lightly browned.
Add the tomatoes and chili pepper, then season with salt, pepper, oregano, and smoked paprika. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or directly over a flame until slightly charred.
Fill the tortillas with the spiced mushroom mixture, and sprinkle with fresh cilantro.
Squeeze fresh lime juice over the tacos before serving to enhance the flavors.
