Prepare the ingredients: mince the garlic and grate the ginger. In a bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, and all the spices.
Place the lamb chops in a large bowl and pour the spiced yogurt marinade over them. Mix well to ensure the lamb is evenly coated. Let it marinate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight in the refrigerator.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C), or prepare a grill for medium-high heat.
Place the marinated lamb chops on a baking sheet or grill rack and cook for 20-25 minutes, until the meat is tender and slightly charred. Flip halfway through to ensure even cooking.
Serve immediately with naan bread or steamed rice, and a fresh salad.
