In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until well combined.
In another bowl, whisk the eggs, then add the milk and melted butter. Mix well.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Then, add the cream cheese and the prepared tuna mixture.
Preheat the waffle iron and lightly grease it with butter or olive oil to prevent sticking.
Pour a portion of the batter onto the waffle iron and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Repeat the cooking process with the remaining batter, and keep the waffles warm until serving.
Garnish with fresh parsley when serving. You can also offer lemon wedges, extra cream cheese, or a light garlic dip.
