Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a 8-inch (20 cm) cake pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together the oat flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Melt the coconut oil, then whisk it together with the plant-based milk and vanilla extract.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well until a smooth batter forms.
Add the chopped dark chocolate and stir to distribute evenly throughout the batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool completely on a wire rack. Serve with fresh fruit or a dusting of powdered sugar.
