In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, water, vanilla extract, and vodka.
Melt the butter and whisk it into the wet ingredients.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk until just combined, forming a smooth batter.
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat.
Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot griddle for each pancake.
Cook for about 2-3 minutes, until bubbles form on the surface and the bottom is golden brown. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve immediately with fresh sour cream and optionally dust with powdered sugar or top with fresh berries.
