Homemade vodka raspberry sorbet refreshing dessert

Vodka Raspberry Sorbet

Vodka Raspberry Sorbet is a unique and tangy dessert that combines the freshness of sweet raspberries with the clean, subtly spicy aroma of vodka. Raspberries are one of the most popular summer fruits, enjoyed since ancient times. Vodka originated in Eastern Europe and is one of the most well-known alcoholic beverages, perfectly suited for icy desserts. The first sorbets were consumed in ancient Rome, when snow flavored with honey and fruit juice was chilled. In the modern version, the natural sweetness of raspberries and the slight character of vodka create a perfect harmony, resulting in a light, icy dessert. Imagine a spoonful of vodka raspberry sorbet melting in your mouth, refreshing and invigorating with every bite!

    Preparation Steps

    1

Wash the raspberries and purée them in a blender until completely smooth. If desired, strain the purée through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the seeds.

    2

In a medium saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.

    3

Let the sugar syrup cool completely. Then, stir in the raspberry purée, lemon juice, and vodka.

    4

Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and place it in the freezer.

    5

Every 30 minutes, use a fork to scrape the sorbet to create an icy, crystalline texture. Repeat this process 3-4 times, until the sorbet is completely frozen.

    6

Before serving, let the sorbet stand at room temperature for 5 minutes to make it easier to scoop. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a few fresh raspberries.
