Bring 1.2 liters of water to a boil in a large pot, then remove from the heat.
Thoroughly wash the orange and apple, then slice them into thin rounds. Add them to the pot.
Add the dried rosehips, cinnamon stick, and cloves to the pot. Stir gently.
Let the ingredients steep in the warm water for 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Strain the tea through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean pitcher or pot. Add the honey and stir until completely dissolved.
Serve the tea hot in mugs, garnished with a slice of orange or a cinnamon stick, if desired.
