Preheat your oven to 350掳F (180掳C) and prepare a cake pan by lining it with parchment paper.
In a bowl, combine the flour, ground walnuts, powdered sugar, and baking powder. Add the butter and eggs, then mix until a dough forms.
Roll out the dough and place it into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes, then let it cool completely.
Meanwhile, prepare the mousse cream: heat the heavy cream, melt the dark chocolate in it, and let it cool slightly. Dissolve the gelatin in a little warm water, and stir it into the chocolate cream.
Spread the apricot jam over the cooled cake base, then pour the chocolate mousse on top and smooth it out.
Place the cake in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours to allow the mousse to set.
Before serving, garnish with ground walnuts, chocolate shavings, or extra apricot jam.
